Who is Deep Bass 909?
DJ Deep (Marcos Medina) a.k.a Deep Bass 909 is a Hardcore Techno, Speedcore and Gabber focused producer from Mexico City since 1996. Him and his brother DJ Loop (Arturo Medina) founded Toxic Productions in the same year.
Deep Bass 909 is a Gabbermex Collective active member, this collective was founded at 2003 by several sound terrorists from Mexico City. Deep Bass 909 has been one of the most prolific producers of this mexican collective that has been focused on promote the most extreme and corrosive electronic music styles in Mexico since 2003.
Deep Bass 909's discography consists of several tracks published in Extended Plays format, released in limited edition on CDs, as well as digitally through his own netlabel Toxicpro Records, founded with his brother DJ Loop.
In 2007 produces and hosts the broadcast radio show called: Apocalipsis, wich was broadcast on Toxicpro Radio, focused on the very extreme Electronic Music styles, adding a creepy atmosphere with dark topics like: Serial murderers, demons, vampires and dark creatures, urban legends, satanic posssesions and another related topics.
In 2010 Gabbermex Records releases: Gabbermex Sampler, an Limited Edition compilation on vinyl format disc with only 300 copies availables, including on this compilation, two Deep Bass 909's tunes: Infection and Terrordome.
In 2015, the label: Tainted Audio releases the remixes of the track: Wraith by DJ Ruffneck, including on it, a Deep Bass 909 remix, pointing for first time Mexico in the dutch scenary.
In 2016, Deep Bass 909 has presence again in the Dutch scene, this time with a track of his own authory, titled: And The Needle Fuck Up, positioned in the first places of the TOP 10 of the famous online music store: www.hardtunes.com
And continously has reached the top spots in several dutch charts at well-known online stores and online radio such as: Hardtunes and Hardcore Radio. Also has been dijing in several mexican venues and parties by: Gabbermex Collective (founder and member), FireWalkers and Laboratorio Sonoro Radio.
Deep Bass 909's original tracks and remixes has been released by labels such as: Tainted Audio (DJ Ruffneck's label), Fucking Bastards (Noisekick's label), Uptempo Is The Tempo (Sjammienators's label) and Korrupt Recordings, releasing an E.P. with the latter.
